Ask Your Customers to Review Your Online Business Listing
So you’ve created your online business listing. The next step is to promote your listing. This doesn’t mean you have to spend hundreds of dollars advertising it. You simply have to start talking.
Spreading the word is easy. We all have done it for years and years. Simply start telling people about your listing. Encourage your customers, your friends and your family to go online and write reviews for your business. For a quicker response time, you can email your listing to the people you want to review your business.
Many consumers greatly rely on business reviews, especially when they are undecided. Reviews enable them to envision the type of service they will receive. They also help them predetermine whether a business is capable of fulfilling their needs. Positive reviews are just as, if not more, effective than most advertising efforts.

That’s good tip, but you always must watch out for fake reviews of your competitors and never post fake positive opinon about your own business yourself.
The thing with asking your friends or family to do a review of your services is they might be a little biased. But reviews are really important. It’s a simple way for the customers to know what the services can do for them. With the review alone, they can decide whether to avail the services or not.
Great points, getting feedback on your site/product/service is the best way to make improvements and spread the word about your listing and getting more and more people interested in what you have to offer.

Customer reviews are one of the most trusted forms of advertising.
Two tips:
1. Don’t be tempted to write your own reviews. You could well be breaking the law if you are misrepresenting who you are when you write you’re own fake review. And, if you’re found out, your reputation is on the line.
2. There are lots of places that customers could be reviewing your business. A good way to find the review sites that Google takes into consideration for linking is to look at a company’s Google Local Listing, in the Web Pages and Reviews tabs.
